Introducing the Shasta & K&A Platforms: New Tools in the Field of Oligonucleotide Synthesis

Twenty years in the making, Sierra BioSystems is a full-service shop for researchers looking to produce their own oligonucleotides. With a full compliment of synthesizers and ancillary equipment to choose from, there is no challenge we cannot help our customers meet.

Our new, patented Shasta Synthesizer is the most versatile oligo synthesizer on the market to date. For the first time, customers can run oligos of varying length simultaneously without the need for additional solvents and test up to 16 conditions in the same run. The positive pressure, no vacuum design keeps results consistent from run to run, and NASA grade fluid paths keep maintenance to a minimum.

The K&A family has recently expanded its product line to include the H-2, a direct replacement for the popular, but no longer supported, Expedite synthesizers, and the H-4-VLS and H-8-VLS systems, medium-to-large scale synthesis platforms with a small footprint.
