Hyperion Analytical, the
nanoparticle characterization company, is excited to announce the launch of the
all-new Envision NTA Nanoparticle Size and Concentration Analyzer at Pittcon
2024 in San Diego, CA, February 26-28. The Envision realizes the full potential
of the Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) technique with dramatically
improved sensitivity, lower limit of detection, dynamic range, and
reproducibility compared to legacy systems. Developed to address the
limitations of the previous generations of NTA/PTA instruments, the Envision
enhances analytical capabilities while improving data reliability and ease of
use. The ability to measure liposomes and
extracellular vesicles as small as 40nm and polymer nanoparticles below 30nm,
the lower limit of detection provides a full view of sample distributions. This
sensitivity allows measurement of smaller fluorescent particles without
photo-bleaching, which provides a robust analysis and allows reliable
speciation. The Hyperion Analytical Envision
analyzer is a significant advance over prior generation NTA instruments on the
market, which have failed to evolve significantly from their initial
introduction. The Envision is a clean-sheet design that overcomes the inherent
limitations in legacy optical designs. The system and mechanical design was
specifically targeted to broaden the range of applications allowed, from robust
fluorescence studies of extracellular vesicles (exosomes) to viral counting to
online monitoring of water treatment processes. Beyond enhanced sensitivity,
lower detection limit, and dynamic range, the usability has been improved with
a built-in syringe pump, a stable optical platform isolated from environmental
vibration and a robust construction for long- term reliability.
