Uniqsis Tube-in-plate reactor

The Uniqsis Tube-in-Plate (TIP) reactor is designed for synthetic chemistry applications where efficient heat transfer is essential. This reactor offers a precise alternative to glass static mixer (GSM) reactor blocks, particularly in scenarios where static mixing is not required.

The TIP reactor utilizes narrow bore perfluoro polymer tubing, which is embedded in channels cut into an aluminum block. This design facilitates effective heat transfer while minimizing the risk of blockages commonly associated with GSM reactor blocks. The tubing is covered with a glass plate, allowing for visibility during experiments and stabilization of internal temperatures. The design also allows for easy removal and replacement of the tubing if it becomes blocked or contaminated.

The reactor has an internal volume of 9.5 ml, making it suitable for both photochemistry and conventional thermally mediated reactions. It is compatible with Uniqsis HotChip, ColdChip, PhotoChip, and Polar Bear Plus GSM reactor modules, providing seamless integration into existing lab setups.
