The environmentally friendly design of the Savant GP-110 vacuum pump protects users and eliminates hazardous oil waste. Chemically Resistant Design for use with oil pump destroying solvents. Oil-free vacuum pumps create a vacuum without the need for oil, eliminating the hazards of contaminated oil vapors, oil clean-up and dedicated periodic maintenance of changing oil. Oil-free vacuum pumps are generally much quieter than oil pumps a priority when working within the laboratory environment. They are also much more chemically resistant to vapors passing into the pump. This type of pump is recommended for evaporating samples in acidic environments such as HCl, TFA, Acetic or Formic Acids.
