The Labconco FreeZone Series of freeze dryers caters to the lyophilization needs of research and pilot plant laboratories, offering systems with capacities ranging from 1 L to 12 L. Available in both benchtop and mobile console models, these freeze dryers feature collectors with capacities from 1 to 18 liters and temperatures reaching -50°C or -84°C, making them suitable for various sample types, including those with low eutectic temperatures or containing acetonitrile.

The FreeZones' upright stainless steel collector coils efficiently remove up to 10 L of water in 24 hours and can hold up to 18 L of ice before defrosting. The CFC-free refrigeration system enables cooling the collector to as low as -84°C. The system's LCD provides a user-friendly interface for displaying setup and operating parameters, offering options for automatic or manual mode operation, vacuum measurement in mBar, Pa, or Torr, and temperature in °F or °C. An optional Teflon-coated collector chamber and coil for corrosive compounds enhances the versatility and convenience of these freeze dryers.
