Infrared Detectors are able to react to infrared radiation and are very useful because of this. Find New and Used Infrared Detectors today on LabX.
Based on monolithic Michelson interferometer technology, the Monolith 20™ has a clear aperture of 25.4mm and operates over the region 650 to 4500 cm-1 with resolutions to 0.8cm-1 (unapodized). The monolithic interferometer design has no mechanical adjustments, and uses a lateral transfer moving corner cube that is insensitive to all angular perturbations during scan. A digital servo system provides extremely uniform scan velocities. At 4 cm-1 and using the standard DLATGS thermal detector, the Monolith 20™ achieves a signal to noise ratio better than 45,000 based on one minute of data acquisition.
The Monolith 20™ is extremely compact. Its hermetically sealed enclosure fits within a volume of 270 x 206 x 82mm, exclusive of detector, which is placed at the end of the user’s analyzer sample chain. The shape is a simple rectangular solid, with no injection molded plastic parts. A selection of nine M6 hard points facilitates rigid mounting to the user's analyzer. The compactness and integrity of the enclosure relaxes the requirements on the final analyzer packaging, permitting significant size reductions in many cases.
