GDS950

The LECO GDS950 is a Glow Discharge Spectrometer (GDS) designed to analyze the composition of materials by exciting them with a low-pressure plasma discharge and measuring the resulting optical emission spectra. This instrument is commonly used in materials science, metallurgy, and other fields where precise elemental analysis of solid samples is required.  GDS excels in both bulk elemental analysis of materials like metals and compositional depth profile analysis of complex surface treatments with up to nanometer depth resolution.
