The most common problem with standard centrifuge tubes is the buckling during centrifugation and cracking and leaking during storage, which has been tackled by TPP

They are made with super resistant, virgin materials to withstand high speeds and long term cold storage. Both the screw cap and tube expand or contract at the same rate, thus preventing buckling or cracking.
