At Torrey Pines Scientific, Inc. we design, develop, manufacture and sell chilling and heating laboratory equipment with analog and digital controls for use in biotech, pharmaceutical, environmental, chemical, biomedical and other laboratories. Torrey Pines Scientific, Inc. was founded in 1995 in Solana Beach, California, twenty miles north of San Diego, the West Coast capital of the biomedical industry. We are a manufacturing company with more than 60 years of combined experience in designing and manufacturing high-quality, unique, analog and digital chilling and heating equipment. Among some of the innovative new products developed by our principals are the first closed-loop, self-balancing, auto-ranging electronic ultra-microbalance in the early 1970s, trade named Autobalance; the first digital/programmable, single- and multi-position stirring hot plates in the mid-1980s sold under the trade name Dataplate; and in the late 1990s, the first Peltier-based, benchtop chilling/heating incubators, trade named EchoTherm. We are dedicated to excellence and innovation. All of our products are and will be UL, CSA, and CE approved for safety.
